Vintage Gold Art Deco Bag
Beautiful rare vintage 1930’s art deco gold mesh purse bag, with exquisite diamante art deco clasp detail. Possibly an unsigned Whiting & Davis piece, certainly of a similar era and style.
This early century purse is in incredible vintage condition. The art deco clasp sparkles beautifully, with fabulous pave-set diamantes. The gold mesh is in fabulous condition with such a wonderful shimmer.
Measures 6.5 inch wide x 7 inch tall. The perfect size for all your essentials – phone, lipstick, powder, etc. Peach lined interior, with a few light make-up marks and a small area where the lining has been re-sewn. The lovely gold chain measures 16 inches.
This is a truly gorgeous vintage purse. These vintage mesh bags are highly collectible and becoming harder and harder to find, particularly in such exceptional condition.
