1920’s Headband
Exquisite art deco 1920’s headband, created from authentic, extremely rare, early 1920’s and 1930’s diamante art deco paste pieces, offset with subtle diamante detailing along the band.
In beautiful condition, with wonderful geometric detailing and sparkling glass paste-set stones, the two vintage pieces used in this design are a perfect representation of the art deco era. The 1920’s scallop shell shape piece is so unusual, and complemented beautifully by the 1930’s geometric piece. The sparkling diamantes on the band sets the side detail off to perfection.
This headpiece is pure art deco, perfect for an art deco wedding or for an upscale Great Gatsby / Downton Abbey style event.
Set on a slim flexible 3/4 silvertone headband which easily adjusts to head shape for supreme comfort. It has added discreet pinning loops at each end of the band, so that the headband can be secured firmly in place with grips/hairpins, if desired.
As always, this lovely vintage 1920’s headband is a unique one-off bridal design, never to be reproduced, and to be treasured and handed down through generations. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!
